Thurnscoe - Beautiful Images

The Big Local: Thurnscoe'. (BLT) using lottery funding, (huge amounts of it) are about to start building a fabulous community resource in Thurnscoe - called Thurnscoe Plaza. DVCC is supporting their work as part of our Community Activities. 

One of the elements they need is to collect a good portfolio of 'Beautiful Images of Thurnscoe' - which isn't as difficult -or unlikely - as it might at first glance seem. Thurnscoe is too often negatively linked with graffiti and fly-tipping - but our brief would be to counterbalance this by taking images that more accurately reflect the beauty of the village.

We will cover two areas during this evening event:

1st - Thurnscoe Reservoirs - which are really quite lovely. Julia has already taken images of them in the frozen days in January this year, and posted them, so you have seen some of them already.

2nd - de-camp to Phoenix Park - to the Sculpture Trail and attempt some images with darkening/sunset skies afterwards.
